The Flowood Library is extremely excited to be presenting "Get Cookin' with the Flowood Public Library." "Get Cookin'" is a series of presentations by Mississippi Cookbook Writers. We are very fortunate to have three amazing local chefs willing to discuss their recipes. In order of appearance:
Elizabeth Heiskell--> Tuesday, September 20th at 6:00 pm. Mississippi Delta native, Elizabeth Heiskell, will be discussing recipes from her latest book, Somebody Stole the Cornbread for My Dressing. Ms. Heiskell is the former Lead Instructor at the Viking Cooking School. She has prepared meals for the Duchess of York, Vice President Al Gore, and a host of Mississippi governors. Ms. Heiskell will concentrate on speaking about tailgating . . . just in time for football season.

Ms. Miller is the first winner of Fox TV's MasterChef contest which featured contestants from all over the country. Whitney was dubbed the "Pastry Princess" because of her talent with deserts.
and Finally . . .
