We're combining two of our loves here at Brandon: books and chocolate! Join us this Wednesday, March 21st at 10:30 to discuss The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory.
We will have Mint Chocolate Fudge!
Ingredients:
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup (6 oz.) white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon pure peppermint extract
1 teaspoon gel green food coloring.
Directions:
- Line an 8 or 9 inch pan with wax paper.
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk in a sauce pan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Spread half of the mixture into prepared pan and chill for about 10 minutes (hold remaining mixture at room temperature).
- Melt white candy with remaining with remaining sweetened condensed milk in sauce pan over low heat. Add peppermint extract and food coloring.
- Spread on chilled chocolate layer and then chill for 10 minutes lover or until firm.
- Spread reserved chocolate.
