FOBL Supports the Brandon Library with Activities

Fall Book Sale Weekend is sponsored by the Friends of the Brandon Library. The sale will be Friday, September 30, from 10-5, and Saturday, October 1, from 10-4. We will have Bag Day on Monday, October 3, from 10-8. For Monday only, books will be sold by the bag or by the box - $5 a bag or $10 a box.

Also on Saturday, October 1, we will have fun with Race Day. We will be racing something all day long! The schedule is as follows:

OUTSIDE RACES

Bikes (bring your own tricycle or bicycle 

& race against the clock)

10:00am – 11:00am

Rock Climbing Wall (for ages 6 and up!)

11:00am – 1:00pm

   Parental permission required

CONCESSIONS(Friends)

11:00am – 1:00pm (Kitchen)

Hot Dogs - $1

Chips - 25 cents

Popcorn - 25 cents

Drinks and Water - 25 cents

INSIDE RACES

Car Races (ages 2-5)

12:00pm-1:00pm (Story Time Room)

Build and Race a Car (ages 6-10)

1:00pm – 2:30pm (Story Time Room)

BB-8 Races (all ages)

12:00pm – 3:00pm (Genealogy Room)

Book Races

2:30pm-3:30pm (Children’s Area)

We support Red Friday during the regular football season.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Brandon Library

     Every week there will be a drawing for a $10 coupon to a Brandon eatery. To enter, wear RED when you come to the library on Friday and check out one item. There is a new sign-up and prize every week. 

     At the end of the season, we will put all the entries back in the big bowl and draw for the grand prize - an iPad Mini. 

     There will also be additional prizes given away at that time - three Library Buck Awards of $10 each. Library Bucks can be used for fines or for Book Sale items. Library Bucks can not be used for debt collect charges.

Friends Meeting
