Due
to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Mississippi and in an abundance of
caution, all CMRLS locations will temporarily suspend all programs, outreach services,
and meeting room reservations made by the library effective Saturday, March 14
tentatively through Sunday, March 29. We will continue to evaluate the
situation to determine if we have to continue the suspension of services or to
close branches.
CMRLS
Libraries are open. CMRLS services can still be accessed through our digital
materials. There are thousands of eBooks, eAudiobooks, music, and more,
available 24/7.
We
will continue to update our social media and website, Cmrls.lib.ms.us, about any
further disruptions to library services.
We
apologize in advance for this inconvenience and we appreciate your
understanding of the situation.
A
call center at the Mississippi State Department of Health is now available for
the general public at 1-877-978-6453 to answer questions about COVID-19.
