TAKE-BACK PRESCRIPTION DRUGS ON APRIL 30
"Two weeks prior to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA’s) second National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 30, more than 4,700 sites nationwide have joined the effort that seeks to prevent pill abuse and theft. The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. Government, community, public health and law enforcement partners at these sites will be working together to collect expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs that are potentially dangerous if left in the family’s medicine cabinet" (http://www.nationaltakebackday.com/)
You can drop off your unused prescription medications at the following sites:

Researching Your Mississippi Roots
A representative from the Mississippi Department of History and Archives will be at the Flowood Library on Friday, April 15th at 10:00am to conduct a Genealogy presentation. The presentation will cover basic starting points, resources available for researching in the state, and more. There will be a short Q&A session after.
Refreshments will be served.
