Simpson County Animal Rescue

The mission statement of the newly organized Simpson County Animal Rescue states: "To provide a loving and clean shelter to neglected, abused, and/or homeless domestic animals in Simpson County."
Simpson County Animal Rescue needs your help with:
Monetary donations
Sponsorships, annual, monthly, or weekly
Materials to build shelter
Foster homes until shelter is built

For information on this grassroots organization, you can pick up a handout at the Mendenhall Public Library.

Once a week for the rest of the summer the Facebook pages for CMRLS Libraries and CMRLS TeeN SCeNe will each be asking trivia questions or asking for a book or program review. The first ones to answer correctly on either of the pages will each receive a 5-day FINE CREDIT on their Library account! Five days on US; for playing along and taking advantage of the Libraries social outreach!

You could be late with 1 book for 5 days or 5 books for 1 day or 2 books for 1 day with 3 days left over or 2 books for 2 days with 1 day left get the picture! A 5-day FINE CREDIT on your Library account!

Why Should Kids Get all the Freebies!

Come by the Magee Library for either a free book bag or a free energy saving 13 watt light bulb (equals 60 watts) while supplies last!

To get a light bulb OR a "Novel Destination" Bag; a person can just simply turn in a book review for every book checked in, only one free item per check in visit will be given out.

If you just want a light bulb; answer correctly the "Who Lives Where? Detective Match" sheet located at the check out desk.
