Great American Smokeout- Flowood

The Flowood Library would like to thank the Mississippi State

Department of Health for participating in the Great American Smokeout on November 18th. Hope Ladner, Legislative Liaison for the MSDH, spoke about the Smokefree Air Mississippi Initiative. The Department of Health received a grant to launch a media campaign targeted at informing Mississippians of the harmful effects of second-hand smoke. Television spots have already begun to air on local channels.
